Audeze LCD-2 Orthos

I used DVD boxed sets in combo that was close to my Head width, and parked the Audez'e on them when not in use. It gave a natural stretch and flattened the pads and made for a comfortable phone after a couple weeks....just a suggestion.

So does anyone know where I can find connectors for these, I need to try and make a shorter joint as they dig into my collar bones when sitting on the couch.

I predicted that would happen.  I look forward to reading about the solution.

Would anyone have an idea if the Lavry DA11 could provide enough current for these headphones?

From the DA11's manual:
18dBu Headphone into 100 ohms at Volume = 56 or lower.
18dBu Headphone into 50 ohms at Volume = 50 or lower.

I'm hoping to not break the bank after buying a tube amp which would be too slow to get the most out of these headphones.

I have heard the Lavry under meet conditions and it drove the Senn 6XX series well enough. A friend uses it with several low impedance offerings and is a favorite. It should be fine.

I used Nuetrik REAN RT4FC-B with my diy cable. You can remove the rubber bit on the end. And you can probably dremel the black screwy on thing at the bottom to be very short.
I bought mine from ebay.co.uk. I dunno the USA sites.

I dunno how the other ones work though...The neutrik seems built differently.

There are also switchcraft ones here: http://www.audiogear.com/Switchcraft-Mini-XLR-Connectors.html
