  Hey guys, first post so if I sound like a complete noob I apologize.
 
Real quick about me. Coming from Bose IE2 and Bose QC15.
 
Currently the LCD-2 is a dream headphone of mine, and found one on Amazon used for $699. Is that a good deal, as I know they go for about a grand new? Would that raise any red flags for you?

"There’s no real difference between a Mjolnir with LISST and the original Mjolnir (well, except for all the new features). Same topology…now with higher voltage rails for even better performance." - Schiit.
 
Setup one if you are going to use Tubes, 2 if SS. Just IMHO - haven't heard any of the gear.

Oh i see, so the main difference is the new features and tubes. I'll think I'll save 300 bucks by going Solid State than. With the same Topology I think it make more sense for me. I heard good things about the Yggy and that it plays a very big part of the setup. I'm trying to get the best out of the LCD-2. This is my end-game setup and after this i won't see you guys for another 3-5 years lol, (i'll be chillin in my cave hearing tunes).... until upgradetitus grows on me. hehe Cheers!

Really? How many faulty LCD-2's are there?
 
As with anything, the ones that are working fine never get mentioned, only the faulty ones. So, take the negative posts with some salt, unless one has numbers (stats) to back up a high fail rate.
