Hi everyone, just dropping in to update my EQ settings. I know I said I wouldn't update my EQ settings anymore but I've come a long way studying the FR of iSine 20.
Using a mix of measurements of the iSine 20, I've decided to end up with a setting that has a sparkle on the top, smooth midrange and of course aggressive sub-bass. I borrowed measurements from Just-Hifi.com to adjust the upper mids past 2khz from this image. I used Innerfidelity's measurements to adjust for midrange before 2khz from this pdf, and an HRTF Compensation Curve I used from Innerfidelity here.
The Muses02 opamp makes the O2 sound a little darker, so I apologize if anyone tries this with a bright source.

Does anyone here have an Otterbox case on their iPhone? Does the cipher cable fit? I'm considering the isine 10's but I have had some issues with some lightning cables fitting my case.

I have had the isine 10 for quite a while now and I'm still surprised at how good they sound with eq, I listen to these at the office and when I'm out and about and when I'm at home I listen to my hifiman Edition X version 2. I run both off my fiio X5 3rd gen and fiio A5 combo and they both sound exceptional. I'm actually done looking for new headphones for now and just very happy with the sound out of both.
thanks to all who have posted the great eq settings for the isine

You've got extra info in there. Maybe they still work fine...
Filter: ON LSC 10 dB Fc 50 Hz Gain 11 dB
Filter: ON HSC 90 dB Fc 17000 Hz Gain 2 dB
I think they should look like this:
Filter: ON LSC Fc 50 Hz Gain 11 dB
Filter: ON HSC Fc 17000 Hz Gain 2 dB

@Br777 (The quoting system deleted your quote, had to tag you there, sorry)
I was confused for a second myself, but I remember that I entered Slope values. I didn't use the default Fixed Slopes, which is why there's extra decibel values in there.

Sometime in the past Audeze posted images of the THD of the iSine 10\20, but now I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone have a link? Or a copy on his PC?
Thanks!
Thanks!

You can see the THD measurements on Innerfidelity's review page here:

I am familiar with Tyll's measurements, but I am looking for the ones Audeze posted which seems to have vanished from the internet :|
@KMann - Did you remove the THD measurements? If so - why?
And could you please share the EQ parameters for Fabfilter Q2 for the iSine 10?

We posted it here but I do not see the images, to the best of my knowledge, we did not take it down.
For Fabfilter Q2, please refer EQ-V1 I have posted in this thread and you should be able to punch in the prametric filter options. I have not used it myself.
We have updated the presets. More details in the DSP thread - https://www.head-fi.org/threads/audeze-dsp-presets-now-available-in-roon.858730/page-4#post-13853108
Stay updated on Audeze at their sponsor profile on Head-Fi.

I did try EQ V2 on Fabfilter and it comes very close, but not perfect. So you say V1 is actually the one you currently use in Reveal\Roon\Cipher?
Reveal/Roon iSine10 => EQV1
Reveal/Roon iSine20 => EQV2
Cipher V1 => Cipher posted prevoiously in this thread
Cipher V2 => EQ V2
EQ V1 and V2 are very close. What are you comparing it to when you say 'comes very close'?

Cipher V2 = EQ V2 = Reveal iSine 20?
Cipher V2 is same for iSine 10 and 20?
I compare the result from Fabfilter using the V2 parameters and the iSine 10 Reveal plugin

Thx KMannWith Cipher V2 we have a more potent DSP and it allows better control over the FR. We wanted to make the tonal change uniform across Roon, Reveal and Cipher. So if you are on firmware 6.1.4 on iSine10/20, the default tuning is EQ-V2 I had posted in this thread and this is a result of feedback from this community as many found the default tuning quite bright. The chances are, if you like the Reveal or Roon tuning, you will like the cipher V2 out of the box.
Listening experience is for sure something very subjective.
So far the default settings are OK on the v2 for me but I have to confess that I still prefer the tonal setup of the v1 and eq settings I posted before.
Indeed the v2 Cipher sounds very potent, is fantastical light weight for wearing all day but the sound is kind of too direct for my taste, I somehow preferred the more restrained setup in the v1, it sounded lighter too me, more often instruments and voices are jumping at me in the v2 so much I do not enjoy but can be a very personal thing for my ears not applicable to everyone's taste.
Might it be that Audeze added some additional non configurable DSP effects such as crossfeed or similar which weren't present in the v1?
