Audeze CRBN Interview, Review, Measurements

To be fair to Audeze, my current pair will only do it if taking the headphones on or off whilst plugged in or actively trying to cause it to happen. In addition, I've only had the driver stick to the stators twice, and it was at the beginning of ownership of the pair when I was testing to see if I could make it happen.

My first pair was wayyyyy more sensitive to this problem and much more annoying to use. They made noises, cracking sounds with the slightest movement or change of air pressure in the cups, and also stuck the stators even from medium levels of music.

I do think they must have changed something in how they are made, but all Audeze will admit to (for obvious reasons) is "streamlining the manufacturing process."

My current pair is from April 2022 fwiw.

Sorry my mistake March 2022 it's all good!
This is what they said to me: "The most recent changes we have available publicly were implemented in March". So April is 100% fixed yours is end of March so I think it is also a good unit!

Audeze Distributor in Korea have a one-year warranty period. I think it's different from the company's policy

If I send it to the headquarters, will the warranty be applied for 3 years?
Any headphones sent to us for repair gets renewed 3 year warranty on drivers, 1 year on all other parts (2 years in EU). Non-LCD gaming headsets is 1 year on all parts (2 in EU).

Corrections: International distributors have their own laws and regulations, but we definitely want to be able to take care of our CRBN customers, so please contact us at support@audeze.com for assistance on this matter.

I'm pretty sure that my distributor gives 2 years warranty. Would I have to send them directly to you in the 3rd year?

Or should I contact you with distributor in CC to clear up the process?

(This is purely hypothetical, my LCDs work fine, but just in case)

Is it two years for the drivers as well? In any case, if something were to happen in the 3rd year, contact us to see if we can work something out with the distributor. Outside of their warranty period, we can then handle things directly. But within their warranty period, always contact the distributor.

But yes, pay attention to local warranty periods, etc. We are not in control of international rules/regulations, and what distributors provide but we can certainly assist on our end.

We can do things like provide them drivers under our warranty terms, but they'll likely charge you labor costs on THEIR terms.

Also remember, this is 3 years for DRIVERS. 1 year for all other things.
