Remember when Audeze was going to make an official announcement about the farts? What happened with that?

Mine repaired one (or maybe it was a new one, Audeze was unclear on that) rarely farts. I have to try to get it to fart. There was definitely something wrong with my original one, and it appears the same with many of the poster’s CRBNs too. I appreciate Audeze fixing/replacing mine, but I do wish there was some more transparency about the farting issue though. It’s probably not good for PR, and if I had to guess, that may be why there has been no official statement (or at least I haven’t seen it if it was posted somewhere).

If you mean the Audeze preset for CRBN, yes it’s been available for some time now. I haven’t seen any frequency graphs related to the EQ’d CRBN, but I believe the preset is based on Bob Katz EQ.

It’s a rainy night near the Equator. Enjoying the CRBN and chilling to music out of the Roon Core into the iFi NEO Stream into the Carbon. with the Audeze preset for CRBN. Such a pleasure.

Here you go, along with KMann’s explanation on what is the equivalent PEQ type in Roon (and I assume other EQ apps). Although to get a similar graph, I do need to adjust the low frequency parameters, since Roon PEQ can’t go below 20 Hz.

I had forgotten how much I love the OG LCD2 until I took it out to play with the Wells Audio Milo. Such sumptuous sound signature!
