Anyone know of any ultrashort cables with the ZMF/Audeze connector? Would be nice to have one to use with my ES100.

I tried looking for one (3ft-4ft) but couldn't find one...so i had one made. I'm sure any custom cable you order can be requested to be made shorter than normal...

2.5mm TRRS connector is worthwhile with the ES100 for high voltage balanced mode into 300ohm cans. They aren’t too hard to make if you can solder. And as others said, custom cable maker can do it easily for you.

I bought 3' cable, terminated with a 3.5 mm TRS. Venus Audio. They have a pretty big presence on eBay.

Yeah, I was looking at having something like a ~24” ZMF-2.5mm male cable, then having another ~24” extender with 2.5mm female-XLR or 1/4” male connectors.

That’s a good plan. I use a ~5ft Cardas XLR4 cable that I made plus an XLR4 to 2.5mm adapter that they sell on amazon. Nice to be able to adapt it to different use cases.

Great Read. Thanks !
Thank you. You are welcome. I always thought I would sell one of them. They are both engaging with each having very special qualities that make each one so unique and special.
