anyone compared to fiio m11?
I'm not certain this pertains to the SR15, but I do know that a lot of players do not like artwork larger than 500 pixels. So when ever I add new music to my collection, I always tell SongKong to scale any artwork down to 500x500 and keep the originals for programs that can handle larger format, live jriver, etc..
All of my artwork shows up in all different formats as long as I keep them 500x500 max.
Take a look at the ones that aren't showing up, and if they're over 500 pixels maybe try changing one or two and see if that works.
YMMV, Regards,
Claus
Wave files are notorious for not displaying metadata correctly, which is the big reason FLAC caught on quickly for DAPs since the tagging is much more robust.Hi,
I'm hoping someone here can help. I recently purchased the A&norma SR15 after much deliberating due to cost. My music library consists mainly of WAV and AIFF files which are fully organised into folders with album art and all metadata is correct.
I am using Mac and the Android file transfer app to transfer music onto my SR15. On review there are numerous songs and albums which are not showing album art. Artwork is saved into the folder with the music with "Cover' as the file name. Ranging from 500x500 up to 3,000x3,000 pixels.
I've searched online and can't find anywhere that can help. Am I missing something? I also use VOX on iPhone (which is why I have a nice organised music library) and have no issues here, all artwork showing correctly.
Is there certain restrictions on file sizes for artwork or anything else I should know? Or is that a particular file type issue such as WAV or AIFF?
Please help if you can as this is a deal breaker for me. I will be returning the unit if I can't resolve this. This is already far too much messing around for the price paid!!

AK players use the ID3 tag first for categorization. While putting the album art into the folder as a file will work for most file formats, it doesn't always work for WAVE files. I would recommend trying to edit the ID3 tags for a few of the WAVE files not showing artist and see if that fixes your issue.
If you could please give me a few days to discuss with our dev team to see if they have any suggestions. I stopped ripping all my music into WAV 20+ years ago since the metadata never displayed properly on any of the many portable media players I've owned over the years. I will also rip some stuff and run some tests here in our US offices.Thank you for your reply.
I use Kid3 for metadata and this works fine when uploading to VOX. Never had an issue.
I’ve tried several different WAV files and still no artist info which is really disappointing as this is half of my music library! I’m getting art on some WAVs but not others (artwork stored in the folder as ‘Cover’. Again no issues with VOX on any of these tracks.

Thanks Jason i really appreciate it. Otherwise I love the SR15 but if I can't get my library organised this will be an issue. If you could please give me a few days to discuss with our dev team to see if they have any suggestions. Is that the NhacCuaTui app from NCT Corporation?I wish if I can add the app “NCT” (Vietnamese streaming musics) to my SR15 but it sounds like APK doesn’t allow them???

I will pass onto our dev team for testing and possible inclusion in a later firmware update.
No new news yet. Last I was told about two weeks ago was that it was 98% complete and a revised firmware was being submitted to Roon for testing last week. I will follow up again.@JasonNYC - any news on Roon support?
I sent the request to our dev team for Neutron Player and Plex earlier this week. I received beta firmware during the middle of the night for testing that adds 10 new apps to the approved OpenApp list, but Neutron Player and Plex were not included. I will follow up when they are in the back in the office as it is the middle of the night in Korea.@JasonNYC did you get any news from devs about Neutron Player?
I will pass this on tonight when I follow up on Roon and the other apps.It is the NhacCuaTui from NCT corporation. I appreciate if NCT can be downloaded in the next FW update.
