Here are some pics of ST15 in the ‘official’ AK case. Workmanship is wonderful and as they say- it fits like a glove.

Is there a way to disable the Media Scan entirely? Since I don’t use a supported computer OS, the only way to add music to my player is by removing the sdcard and mounting it in a card reader on my computer. When I replace the sdcard in my SR15, I get skipping on random songs until I force a manual re-scan and wait for it to complete. I assume a scan of the sdcard is taking place in the background, which means playing songs tries to access the sdcard at the same time, leading to skipping. Since I don’t use playlists or categories at all, I’d like to disable the Media Scan entirely.
+1

For those Mac users who use Dapper to sync iTunes to your AK - I added support for the AK15 Norma today and I have to say its the first AK Dap I have supported that works well. (Aka doesn't suck)

Playlists can now span Internal and SDCard memory just fine.

Duh, can somebody please tell me what those things are called that you can plug into the usb on your phone or device to extend battery life? I want to search for a good one on amazon but I honestly don’t remember what they’re called. I’m assuming it would work with ST15.

Not power brick for sure.

Portable power banks. Search for the brand Anker, they are high quality and come in a variety of sizes. I have a few myself and they work great. You can also get more detail on them to help decide which is best for you by visiting their website, www.anker.com

Thanks, I was leaning towards the Anker after reading reviews on Amazon. They are pretty reasonably priced also. They have a 10.000 mw model that looks to be close to the same size of SR15.

I have the 10,000 mw version and it's great for iPhones and DAPs. Below is a pic to show the size comparison to the SR15, the power bank is just a little thicker than the SR15.

I think that’s exactly the one I was looking at on Amazon- they have a newer one that supports fast charging but I don’t think SR15 supports it. Thanks for the help, that will be perfect- they have an even small one but it’s only 5000 mw.

Tidal Masters uses MQA, which our players currently do not support. We are looking into offering MQA in the future, but have no ETA on when it may be added. Once MQA is supported, Tidal Masters will be supported.

MQA is available now, but only for the pre-installed app, not for Tidal apk, so no offline content in master quality. Will that implemented one beautiful day?

I thought the SR15 is not consumed that much power?!
Anyway I use the fast charging Anker 10K mAH for the DX208TI and SR15.
