I'm loving this player so far, but the Tidal functionality is really stripped down.
I don't get recommend artists as I type in my search or any related artists when I am playing a certain album. I'm also not able to download any albums for offline mode.

Anyone else having these issues?

Many thanks, I checked and he advised he has already tried that to no avail. I wonder if he has USB3 ports, according to documentation the SR15 only works with USB2.

The built in Tidal is stripped down, but if you download Tidal from apkpure and load it via the directions here https://www.astellnkern.com/eng/content/support/faq/view.asp?li=1000606 , then you can get the 'latest' version onto the dap which should have all the features you are looking for.

I tried the SR15 with the HD6xx, and while the music played, I had to put the volume way up. IMHO, the SR15 doesn't have enough power to drive the HD6xx properly. I notice a distinct difference in quality with I use my HD6xx with a more powerful amp. Just my thoughts...

I sold my two devices SR-15, and at the moment I do not plan to buy Astell & Kern products anymore.

Now I think new Chord 2go with Hugo 2 maybe a better choice.

I'm looking at exactly the same way ahead with Chord, the Hugo 2 with the 2Go.

i think it was a waste of money buying this.
I wont get most of money back by selling so means gotta loose money to buy something thats supported better like DX160
