the tidal sideload app has massive lag compared to the preinstalled version. Also, think it sounds different soundstage-wise.
Good update, thank you AK
Tried Tidal and Qobuz (finally !), working fine

I’ve experienced some strange battery indicator behavior after the new FW upgrade. It jumps up and down like crazy. I’ve just listened about an hour and it went up from 12% to 13%. And that’s not the first time after FW update.

I have thé same issue.
I discharge totally thé battery... and a full charge.
I wait if i see this issue again
I just heard this morning there is a bug with the battery indicator on the SP1000. It looks like the same issue on the SE100. I was told our team is testing a firmware fix for the SP1000. I reached out to them to let them know people are having issues with the SE100 also.

Confirmed with our HQ team there will be an upcoming firmware update that will fix this issue for the SE100. I apologize for the inconvenience.

I can get one of these on a 0% finance deal paying over 12 months. It’s a lot of money but I’m tired of buying lots of cheaper ones. Is this one worth the money or should I get the Norma.? I’ve never had an Astell and Kern but I do have an dx200 with amp 8.

Yes, I’d recommend one. I spent years using DAPs that weren’t as expensive as this and being frustrated at laggy and badly implemented UI, no upgrades, etc. I figured that spending extra for this would save money in the long run. After a few months ownership, I’m glad I’ve done this - I can’t think of many ways the SE100 can be improved, I just love it.

Is that financing deal through the official A&K website, I thought I saw them offering Affirm financing once?I can get one of these on a 0% finance deal paying over 12 months. Or do what I did. I cancelled my order for the se100 and instead got the, flagship Opus#2 for $999.00 + $9.00 shipping that's a savings of $700.
The reviews are stellar, wide sound stage and tidal and just about any service you can think of offline, as of 10-20-2017.
I've also herard of many owners of the Opus#2 putting much larger micro sd cards 500g.
I would recommend looking at the reviews and Utube videos.
