Sorry, no new new on the KANN. It may or may not. They will further evaluate once they push the new firmware out to the SP1000, SP1000M, SE100 and SR15.

Anyone thinking about selling or trading se100 for the new sp1000m? I'm thinking about doing it but haven't had a chance to listen to it nor its bigger brother the sp1000. The price difference isn't too much between the two.

@androidjedi the preferred method is embedding the album art into the ID3tag, but adding it to the album folder should work also. One reason that it might not show after adding it to the folder is because the player hasn't indexed it yet. It will check from time to time and index periodically. You can force a manual index by going to settings, system reset, Initialize media scan. If you have playlists set up on the player, make sure "Clear Playlists" box is unchecked.

It can take up to 15 minutes to scan and index content depending on how many files are in internal memory and on the microSD card. Usually scan will take on average of 5- 7 minutes. You will see a message in the notification bar while the scan is running.

Confirmed on my device, and it's about 350Mb.

The update also includes a "virtual back button" which, to my mind, looks pretty awful and does just the same as tapping the "A" in the top right. The virtual back button can be turned off (thankfully) through Settings->Input method
