The decision for me at the moment is the sp1000 for $2050 USD or the sp2000 for $3050 USD. Getting more impatient everyday.

We will start pre-orders of the SP2000 here in the US on 9/2 with ship date of 9/16. Worldwide ship dates should be around the same mid-September date with some markets possibly seeing it a week earlier due to shipping/customs, etc. US dates are firm. I will see if I can get more concrete dates for rest of world. Definitely will be no earlier than first week of September.

Many of my friends in Hong Kong has sold the SP1000 after hearing the SP2000 and some with the Amp. My own listening with the SP2000 is much better than the SP1000. Hope we will have some more feedback.

highly doubtful.

in fact it may not sound better just different

speaking as a cube owner and someone that has researched the dac chips in both

TOTL chips from 2 different semi companies.... they pretty much benchmark similar.
