I hope this one has 4.4mm balanced... or I'll just skip it.

I knew something big is coming, I hope for 4.4 mm balanced and OLED screen.

I am looking forward reading more infos about it.

May be SONY’s DMP-Z1 will have a serious compétitor ?

In terms of price, I think yes. I guess it will be priced at 8000usd :)

AK created 2.5mm balance jack. The possibility of them dropping their standard and go for competitor Sony/Jeita 4.4mm is almost zero but would be glad proven wrong.

I think AK will stick with 2.5mm. Their agents told me so half a month ago.

Thanks for sharing! 3500usd seems to be a reasonable price in today's market. But I am more interested in t9ie. Now I am wondering if Sony will update wm1 series to compete A&K

This seems very interesting. I'd be disappointed if there's still no 4.4mm though.

Is the z1 consider a portable dap or more like a transportable desi top dap ?

While this is way outside my pay scale I applaud the 512gb internal storage. :)
