Previously, the sound was wide and airy, comfortable at any volume, but now the sound is sharp and narrow, with a lot of extra details that prevent you from listening comfortably to music at high volume. And this is not a placebo!

Received a beta version of new firmware for the SP2000 late last night from our dev team (firmware v. 1.19). We will be testing today and confirming that it fixes the issues mentioned here since the last update.

For me the sound is the same awsome sound... Don't understand such a drama, maybe is placebo, I usually find differences in diferent firmwares that's true but the diference from 1.16 to1. 18 if there is, is subtle, is the best portable player in the present market

Yes, officially supports 1TB cards since it was released. There was a firmware update right before it went on sale that added 1TB support. It looks like the website was never updated.
