Sorry, but I have read all the posts from this site via google. But please, only this is the same google translation, I do not speak English, sorry. Hello everyone, I solved the problem with the covers by inserting the covers into the editor's tag, and I edit unknown artists in the same place. Yes, I want to say that I have no such problems with the hiby r3pro saber.

Sorry, I did not know what to write in English, I will correct it, this will not happen again, my mistake.
I've been using Alpha for about a month. Installed 1.14CM. About design, management, no complaints. I'm 100% satisfied with the sound. I have no problems with the Wi-Fi connection and the work of Tidal at all. I don't use AK Connect. I'm having problems with my library cluttered, sorting files poorly and not seeing all artists and album art, but I think it's just a problem with the file tags. I wish there were no restrictions on reading .cue files, you can also add to the playlist.
That's what worries the most about the battery drain, if you leave the player turned on overnight, it loses up to 20% overnight, and if you turn it off, then the music playback does not start from where it left off, what nonsense? And yesterday I listened to Pink Floyd in tidal, the touch screen stopped working, it's good that you can turn off the player while holding the power button. Developers respond, how much more will I suffer. I bought a player for 1000 dollars and the impression that the cost is like my hiby r3pro saber. A big shame on a company like Astell & Kern, you are the leader in quality sound, as you can. You are actually pushing customers away. Wake up and work harder. Nevertheless, I respect Astell & Kern.

AK website is showing Kann Alpha to be Roon Ready, but I have not seen any FW update for that.... maybe an imminent release @JasonNYC ?

I posted about this on the previous page of this thread (Post #1,345). There will be a firmware update next week adding Roon Ready support to the KANN ALPHA. The software team was waiting for all the Tidal firmware fixes to go out first and confirm there were no issues with the update before pushing out another update to enable Roon Ready.

@JasonNYC I know you did, you replied to me actually.
However, seeing that mentioned on the AK website made me wonder if the FW was out there already.... or just imminent.
At this moment, the advertising on the website is just misleading, the Roon icon should not be there if the Kann Alpha is not ready yet.

The morning of June 21 Korea time is the tentative release date.

...following my June 7 post regarding Tidal embedded app crashing in login after 1.14 update, there will be some kind of fix? Have other users experienced the same problem?

There were problems with the built-in tidal, could not enter. I installed tidal 2.34.1 before the 1.14 update and did not return to the built-in anymore. tidal is working , I have no problems with losing wifi.

I apologize, I thought I had responded back.

We have no reports of crashing of the embedded app after the 1.14 update. I have asked both our North America support team and our global support team. Our global support team was inquiring with other regions to see if there were any reported issues.

The next KANN APLHA firmware update is expected the morning of June 21st in Korea (late night Sunday, 6/20 in North America/ middle of the night 6/21 in Europe). In addition to adding Roon Ready support, there are a number of bug fixes included in the update.

As the soft reset did not fix the issue, I would suggest waiting for the next firmware update next week or try a factory reset. A factory reset will erase all files and settings on your player, so you may want to try the next firmware update in a few days.

Hello Jason, how about the problems that I described to you, the developers to fix? I’m talking about sleep patterns, I’m worried about that the most.

I never used the embedded Tidal app as it doesn't support for known reasons offline playback. I do use too the sideloaded app without any problems whatsoever. I was simply curious why the embedded app stopped working after the update which was supposed to fix the login problems...
