Ive Updated my Alpha, it shows in the settings as Roon Ready, but that's as far as I get.
How do I get it to work? Please?
If I go into Roon on my Laptop, it doesn't see the Alpha. I have Roon running on a NUC, with Roon Rock. It works fine with my Bluesound Node 2i, and with my iPad, iPhone etc.
I've been waiting forever for Roon for my Kann Alpha, and now I can't get it to work.
Any help/instructions gratefully received. Thank you.

Silly question... have you enabled the Alpha in Roon's settings ? Roon>Settings>Audio>Roon Ready devices>Kann Alpha>Enable
Also, I guess Roon should be running on the Alpha to make it work
I am not at home these days, but I am looking forward to try Roon on my alpha once I am back next Wednesday

Alpha isn't even listed in Roon ready section of /settings/audio.
I'm about to reboot everything, and see if that helps.

No, wi-fi is on, and I've checked it's not in 'test mode' too.

DSD64 will stream bit-perfect. Anything over DSD64 will downconvert to DSD64.

Using Roon app on another device. As a Roon Ready endpoint, you cannot use the player to control Roon.

@JasonNYC has replied. Agree with him. When I tried doing it with DX300, what happens is it goes through android resampling. AK's way means you skip the android limitations

I have some 60-day trial codes for Roon if anyone is interested in trying it out. The standard demo period if you sign up from Roon is 30 days. Unfortunately I cannot walk anyone through on how to install Roon Core and get it up and running on their network, but it is pretty easy if you want to install on a Windows or Mac computer to test. Please PM me if you would like a trial code. They are unique codes, so I will have to send individually to anyone that is interested.
