Anyone know if there is some place I the USA I can get a replacement battery for my KANN? The unit seems okay, but after a few minutes, it heats up to the point I can't even touch it.

While I understand that you are upset you can't blame A&K. It's Tidal's app just a bit tweaked to work on the player. Sign-in and authentication schemes are not under A&K's control. These things are propriety to Tidal. I'm sure A&K did what they can but at the end of the day it's software on a device that is no longer going to be supported by the company that created it. The one to complain to is Tidal not A&K.I understand that but AK allowing and accepting this is not acceptable, if only temporary and fixed soon understand but if this is permanent and AK allows or does not demand fix for its players, then they are guilty as well,,im sure others agree,
I just learned about this today and hopefully a fix is in the works but if not
I emailed my tech news reporter friend and asked him about this as this major news and effects lots of users
The abilty to stream is a major function of these players
