Hello I am new here. Need help. Yesterday I did the Firmware Update of my AK380 to Version 1.4 . I dont like the changes in the Sound Quality. I want to go back to Version 1.32. How can I manage this. Thank you for your support to do this.

They pair incredibly well! Listened to it a few weeks back on my 380. If you have the chance go for it!

The Soundquality changes coming with firmware upgrade 1.4: The sound is mich more lighter. More hiss. Less ground and bass pressure and to my taste. it sounds flat and nervously.

you can't just download them. only AK has them.

I have a 24bit 192Khz file that registers as no data when being played on the optical input of the Chord DAVE.

I have this information. I listen to a player with normal CD Flac.
By the way - don't you think  24bit 192Khz  better than normal CD FLAC.
My ears hear no difference.

The SQ in the new firmware has jump down! AK should correct that ! I hate the new SQ.

All good until the Coldplay album that is 24bit 192Khz plays ....
 
The Chord Dave supports this but my question is does the AK380 support this format on it's optical output (Chord DAVE shows no data when the album is playing)? 
Couldn't find anything online regarding the specs on the AK380 optical output so was wondering if anyone has any experience with this.

I don't have the AK380, but my AK240 outputs 24/192 correctly through optical to the Mojo, and I presume it would to my DAVE as well but I haven't tried it. What cable are you using? Depending on the bandwidth of the optical cable you may not be able to push the 24/192 data through. I would be surprised if it was handicapped at the player and not the cable.

I am using the audioquest diamond toslink cable..... not sure what the specs are on this so will have to check it out.
