H7 is an upgrade in power but sound wise, the sp1000 still has an upper hand, at least to my ears. Its just bit more realistic, natural and convincing in the timbre and layering. The sp1k is bit warmer and has slightly more vivid 3D stage but the H7 is definitely an amazing device and imho plays with daps from price range 1000-1800 bucks easily. Also the bass goes deeper on the sp1k but i loved the H7 bass too.
I ordered the AK pa10 to strengthen the sp1000 sound even more.

I have but they are practically unavailable. I've found one used in Japanese shop for 820e but with EU taxes it would cost around 1k euros and i didn't want to put such costs into an outdated platform even tho it works and sounds fabulous.
I've bought the AK pa10 which can work with any other dap and dongle and in combination with the sp1k, im getting the best "portable" sound I've heard to date. From some reviews it sounds better than the dedicated amp for the sp1k. It easily surpasses the sp2000 and even rivals the sp3000.
It's a sandwich but in my case it actually fits most pockets.

That's pretty cool, I think I saw a sp1k + amp about half a year ago, should've known it was the real deal, but oh well! an NPAudio modded wm1a will do the job just as well

My XD05 Pro is stock DAC & opamp too. Both are equally good, haven't do a side by side comparison yet. But I feel Aroma seems to be more mid forward & the female vocals sounds damn sweet. Xduoo sounds not so forward & vocals have a more natural tone.
Aroma I can bring anywhere, Xduoo is so big and heavy not so portable.

You can buy from Musicteck and ask them to declare package value below 50 dol. You will pay around 30e of customs then.
