Well, in record time, the USPS delivered really EARLY. My AC Opera v2 showed up yesterday, though estimated schedule delivery was this coming Friday.

Wasn’t expecting this, but still interesting that the pouch the Opera came in is different than the Talos.

Beautiful cable, soft & malleable. I’ve included a picture to show size/thickness comparison between the Talos and the Opera. Talos is noticeably heavier, thicker, and stiffer. Build quality is nothing short of exquisite for both.

I’ve switched to burning in the Opera yesterday and am enjoying listening to them right now. Still a long way to go before they are burned-in, but I am enjoying the heck out of this cable (and the Talos, too) so far.

I just ordered a Define model from AC to replace my just broken Hart Audio cable for my Aryas. Didn't expect it to happen but I did a quick search and decided to go with AC. I wanted to just keep my first purchase low and see how it goes. They have a massive catalog of options and that really won me over. If I'm happy with it I might buy a silver cable for my Aeolus.

I agree, their catalog was extensive and that impressed me, too. I think you’ll be pleased with the AC Define when you get it. Congrats!

Yes, thank you. A lot of cable manufacturers don't offer that many choices and I was especially surprised by the wood or wood graphic connectors. I geniunely have not seen that before. Pricing is also quite fair and they don't just have a single copper cable or a single silver cable. These guys are serious about what they do. Can't wait!

Had to delay my order of my special twisted Opus cable for my Neumann NDH20 because I had the opportunity to snag one of these bad boys: the iFi Gold Bar. Now, with a more detailed dongle dac, the Opus will be a little less overkill :D I feel like the bright red leather looks a bit tacky with gold, but once my new embossed brown leather Dignis case gets here it will have a much more tasteful, classic vibe (especially with a palladium coated silver cable!)

Anyone using the Opera and the Opera V2 with the Susvara? Curious as to the match. Tks.
Frankie - reach out to Roy at Arctic and he will be able to let you know how it matches. It appears on their site that cable is shown with Hifiman

Sorry for the late reply. I just noticed this was about 10 days ago.

got the Apeiron just before the new year. nice packaging and lovely cable as usual, from Roy and his team. the Apeiron is quite a hefty cable, but thankfully not so apparent once the headphone is on the head.

I really like the braiding and sheathing. the furutech xlr plug couldn't accommodate the braid, so Roy suggested a transition connector and a short length of twisted cable so that it could fit into the furutech. I think it turned out very well! Furutech headphone side plugs also could not accommodate the large wire gauge and sheathing, so he suggested these AC plugs, which matched with the ebony splitter.

running it in for a few days but I already like how it goes with the Caldera. some added weight and meat in the mids to lows. stage seems wider too! usually not a fan of copper but I think this will turn the tide.

many thanks again to Roy and AC. this latest purchase was smooth and prompt and I really appreciate the hassle free transaction ie quick helpful suggestions, super prompt replies, and not having to email multiple times about ETA and where is my cable, is it done yet etc etc.

I just recieved my cable and a purchase out of necesity now emerges a loyal customer. I don't know what I was expecting but this is insane. I love everything about it. Purple is my favorite color.

The braids, the connectors, the splitter, the termination... everything is so well done. I'm getting another one for my Aeolus for sure. All my cables will now be purchased from AC! My only gripe is that the warranty card was completely blank, bummer.

I've had a few hours to listen to the cable. I don't know if it's because I want it to sound different but the first track I played on it felt like: "Wait. Oh damn. Where the Aryas this detailed before?" I've had the Aryas a long time now so I know how they sound. In other songs I also heard more body. There is slighty more weight to the notes. I used to belive DACs, burn-in and cables didn't actually change sound and if they did it would indicernable. Look at me now. Eating my own words and happier for it.

I also added the final piece. I had to squish the braid a little and offset the back piece in order to fit it. I dig the look a lot. In fact, I think it's even functional. Having that "slider" (which is useless as a slider in this case) separates the splited braids a bit more to make it harder for them to tangle if at all possible.

Once I get set my stup all purple again I'll take some more pictures of it in it's matched purple environment. Currenty the setup is pink, red, and white to match the anime thing I have for now.
