aptX Adaptive / aptX Lossless USB Transmitters

I have the Creative BT-W3 and am experiencing brief, but loud staticky noise once a minute or so, only when using the AptX HD codec (the other codecs are fine). My headphones only have AptX HD and regular AptX, no adaptive. Would I benefit from getting the W4, or would that just default down to regular AptX? Excuse my ignorance!

If use W4 in iPhone you need camera adapter

I have upgraded my KB8 to KB8P . From now i can choose 24/96 in windows. not look like before only 16/48

Not sure I can see any mention battery life (too tired so off now), but I am not really into those bare cheap looking control housings, I wish a decent brand would take heed and put the same chipsets in a proper neckband like previously available and with App support.

Yeah I just filled in my fulfilment survey a couple of days ago for the NuraTrue Pro earbuds with their dongle. They hinted that they could be upgrading our dongle to an aptX Lossless one. They originally didn’t expect to ship that dongle til next year. Expecting to receive it next month.

Keeping my eyes peeled for alternatives. Can’t be too much longer.

Hey guys. I’ve read first 8 pages of this thread and want to buy one dongle for sennheiser momentum 4 (I haven’t bought this Headphone yet). And now I have few questions about it.
1. Is Kb8p still the king?
2. Does kb9p have better connection maybe?
3. Also, does kb8p/kb9p share the same firmware? Because I only saw fw for kb8/kb8p on official support pages.

That would only make sense if it's a double battery cable. Looking at the page, they're actually showing both double and single battery'd cables. That wasn't the choice when you buy from this lot. When you buy the choice is 4 strands or 8. So, tapping into the slightly pseudo science of fancy cable equals higher quality audio. So, I guess it's going to be a surprise when the package arrives.

On Taobao, these cables are being sold with a multitude of options that you need to state. The price uplift on the double battery version is about the same as the price uplift on the 8 strand cable I've ordered.

For me though, I tend not to listen much beyond an hour or two. So, a long battery life doesn't matter as much to me.
