You’ll have to look for it there. I wouldn’t know. I’m in Scotland.
I ended up ordering the adapter. Might seem strange to be excited for it. But hey, aptX HD and what not sourcing from my PC will be unique

Just be careful as many of the other models have two version as for some reason some consoles need the 16bit model not the 24bit and there even state this in the ads with a choice of the two models.

I do not see any mention of 24/96 in that listing (I never seen this page or above replies as I was still on last page when I posted this).

I posted this before (both 16bit and 24bit choices): https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004229460960.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.55031ec9VFxQd1&algo_pvid=b80f74fa-6fce-46cd-b222-f86401fe06ca&algo_exp_id=b80f74fa-6fce-46cd-b222-f86401fe06ca-0&pdp_ext_f={"sku_id":"12000028457895493"}&pdp_npi=2@dis!GBP!25.28!12.64!!!!!@2100bde316599245446045155e8834!12000028457895493!sea&curPageLogUid=mDZUlaTLXmiw

Also, a store with all models and versions: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/100...00029677596722!sea&curPageLogUid=jiSeonikJgZ3

And canceled. Which link do you recommend with the 24bit as the most reliable seller?

I have ordered 3 items from Ali in total only one store (new opened) let me down and I got a full refund and the other two stores I had my items is 2 weeks or so (it was less than 3 weeks) so I cannot comment on others but look at feedback.

This is where I got my second dongle (24bit) from: https://www.aliexpress.com/store/5005365/search?SearchText=usb+

As far as I know there are no stick-style LDAC transmitters available today. One is apparently in development.

Android phones usually have LDAC transmitter capability.

Because the LDAC encoding is processor intensive and therefore uses a lot of power, it’s rarely available in small devices that transmit. Believe it or not the BTA30 Pro is actually one of the cheapest. I had the HiBy R3 Pro Saber DAP for a while but it’s twice the cost of the BTA30 Pro.

If you don’t want to spend upwards of £100 then I’d wait to see this next gen dongle with LDAC. I suspect it’ll not be as cheap as the KB9P but it should still cost less than the BTA30.
Have anyone heard more to that LDAC transmitter that was lurking in the shadows?

Our “friend“ that shared the info with us has disappeared and deleted their posts. It was genuine info though from the apparent originator of the dongles that started this thread. It can’t be that long now as you can buy the chipsets freely online. They could be in mass production right now. they could also be affected by the various difficulties in China just now.

with the same dongle offering aptX Lossless too, I’m expecting earbuds with that in October. So, maybe October for the dongle 🤷🏼‍♂️

My KB9P seller from Ali has posted a message saying that we must enable the "Enter pairing mode after reconnection timeout". There is a firmware bug that could mean the dongle may not enter pairing mode again. I presume they don't mean "even if you unplug it".

I think I might have run into this bug, did they provide any instructions as to how to fix it or is it a send back and get a new one type of issue?

Edit: Contacted the seller and was told this isn't fixable yourself, you'd have to send it back to get it fixed. Since shipping to China costs so much, I ended up having to buy a new one, hooray...

I was going to suggest a firmware flash but I think I only have the KB8P firmware.

In a previous post here I linked to a google drive with the firmware download. I think it’s pretty much a double-click job after you’ve extracted the contents of the zip.

Ah if that's the case, then I don't think it worked for me. The thing is, after the bug started, the dongle no longer showed up on my laptop. It didn't connect to the dongle assistant and only showed up as a generic USB in device manager, not even in playback devices.

It flashes blue, which means it's trying to pair to a device that it's already paired to. In my case, Edifier TWS 1 Pro but because I was having volume issues, I unpaired them which deleted all previous connections on the earbuds and then they stopped connecting all together, which then started the flashing blue light. I did however learn that I should have asked the seller for the assistant and not got it from here, turns out the latest update to the assistant actually fixes the bug.
