I'm a little confused about the CI780 vs Ci880 you say it's the black version CI880 but there's also a white version of the Ci780 and I don't see the same specs. Maybe I got it wrong but the Ci780 is not BA + DD...?

The diagrams I saw led me to believe that the Ci780 (C610) is BA+DD. When I said black version I did mean the Ci780 (which does appear to also be available in white on AE.) The confusion is because when you go to Amazon they show both the Ci780 and the Ci800 on the same page. When you make your color selection... black or sliver... the black choice is the Ci780 (C610) and the silver is the Ci880 (C630) While the housing is completely different between the two, the diagrams that I saw showed them to both be hybrids. I bought the black out of curiosity and I like it. It is very comfortable and sounds great to me.

If you like the design more, just get it. I had the Ci880 but found it slightly bright for me and I gave it to my husband as he had been wanting them. I then got the black Ci880 for myself to see if they would be good and I think they are. I cannot make detailed comparisons but of course the housing will always affect the sound in some way so I doubt they are exactly the same. However, the diagrams for both show them as BA+DD. You know everyones ear canals are different as well and hearing abiltity. So one persons experience will not be exactly the same as yours. You can only just get a small idea.

Here is the diagram for the silver one... the Ci880. Notice how this one is straight where it goes into your ear. The black one has a curve that for me makes it more comfortable.

Just tieing it in with what's on the site - should really have been $50 or £40 but given the way the exchange rates changes I'll keep it in dollars.

Ok I have taken a photo of my C610 (black)next to my husbands C630 (silver teardrop) with the little cases that they come packed in. Just that case in a plastic bag.
Please do not ask either of us to compare the sound. It is too difficult to do with iems (bad enough with headphones). It maks my ears sore inside if I have to keep taking them in and out like that. Anyway, this is what they look like together. two photos... one from the side and one from the top.

Thank You - the black one seems to be very comfortable compared to the white one - they should be inside technical identical.
