if its still only putting 800ma from the wall charger to give me a 1hr20min charge then it shouldnt shorten the lifespan relative to the usb ports 500ma

so can i trust the wall charger not to shorten my battery lifespan?

I don‘t know about you, but my AP80 heats up a LOT when charged at even 2a. I would be willing to bet that over time, slower charging would increase total battery cycle life by at least ~60%.

As for the comments about phones, I have an Axon 7 with good audio quality, but it still doesn’t beat the AP80. I can't remember what chip it has.

i charged from 0 to 100% wtih 5v2.4a wall charger and my ap80 never heated up much. i was checking the heat on it and the new wall charger to be safe.

the other guy said it would not draw more then 0.8a anyway. the only other option is the usb 3 port which will the guy says will give only 0.5a due to the data connection (2hr5min charge time)

Hidizs posted this link in their Facebook page. It has some images of the AP80 Pro: https://lyra.media/topics/hpfes-2019-Hidizs-ap80-pro-s8-ms1-rainbow/

Killer! Thanks for sharing.I did a translation of the page but no new details on release schedule... :/

That's one sexy little player.

when im navigating the sd card by FILES it seems if there is any .cue files in the folder it wont display the actual physical files on the sd card but instead will display the track info in the .cue file instead. (and will also display info from all .cue files in that folder at once)

the tracks listed in the .cue files will also be displayed in the tag categories, (according to the tags in the actual music files).
