Audiologica are claiming they'll have the CT10 for sale to the UK / Europe in January 2019. Any truth in this? Are they an Authorised Dealer? I've never heard of Audiologica (well I have now obvs )
I'm checking with our UK/EU team again. They confirmed as of two weeks ago, there was no plans for the CT10 to be sold in the UK, but this is the second shop in the UK advertising it. Not sure what is going on. I will update when I have more info.

Activo use same Cs4398 with Ak120ii but they sound diffence ways.
120ii has more detail, flat sound, good bass kick and speed.
Activo has less detail but musical, smooth sound with less speration.

The CT10 is a single DAC vs the dual DAC in the AK120 II.

@JasonNYC (or anyone that can test and confirm):

I would love to be able to drop two other of my core audio-related apps on the CT10 and am wondering if they will work via the Open App system?

  • Amazon's Audible app
  • Pocketcasts

If those two worked along with Spotify and local playback of high quality audio files, this is a perfect audio player for me.

I can transfer the APKs, and basically if they don't require Google Play services (I don't think they do) I'm just curious if you allow arbitrary APKs like them to be installed or if they have to be "on the official list".

YES! I thought it was just me. I actually bought a Hiby R6 this week just so I could install Pocketcasts, Audible, and Google Play Music. I like the CT10 because it supports AptX HD so I can use it with my B&W PX and it plays MQA and I have some MQA albums. I've given up on one player that can play MQA, support podcasts and audiobooks and also supports advanced bluetooth codecs (like LDAC and AptX HD). If the CT10 supported those apps I wouldn't have bought the R6.

Neither on of these are currently supported by Open App, but I will pass this onto the dev team for them to test.

@prophette Definitely me too. I can chase down another thread or message you directly so we don't clutter this CT10 thread, but in short, does the Hiby R6 handle those apps well for you? (edit: moved this discussion to PM)

@JasonNYC If the CT10 supported Audible and Pocketcasts you'd already have my money and I'd be buying these things as gifts for my friends and family.

@JasonNYC (or anyone, who have any information)

I have a subscription for Deezer and curious, when this app will be added to white list?'
It is really strange, that with a big enough line of other streaming services already approved, one of the leading one is still not.
Maybe this depends on some settlement with Tidal?

@JasonNYC have you been informed Dac mode of Activo from users?
Mine CT10 didnt sounds in dac mode. I heard no sound.
These things are confirmed not reason :
-usb cable and connection

I can use dac mode by connect CT10 to usb port of my phone (ss galaxy note8 android8) but I couldnt use with my laptop window10.

Any usb driver need to be installed on laptop?
Btw, my laptop recognize CT10 as usb dac. Just no sound.

Why do audio companies always forget about Europe? People buy less audio device here? (honest question)

Smaller market when compared to USA, China, Japan, South Korea etc. but yes, it sucks. We usually get higher prices in Europe as well.
