What would you guys recommend for around $300?

I listen to mainly soft alternative and a little bit of jazz.

I'm not a big fan of earphones/iem but I expecting to be traveling soon and

I don't want to lug my headphones around.

So which eaphone or iem would you guys recommend?

Help?

Westone only have IEMs as long as I know. And for $300, you can get W3 or UM3X from them. Btw, by "like westone", which aspect of Westone are you referring to? Outlook/sound signature/comfort etc?

More comfort, I tried my friends W3 and found it very pleasing.

You liked them? Because they would be good.

Sorry I didn't read close enough I thought you didn't want IEM's because there are portable on ear's.

For IEM's I think the Shure SE-425's would be good. Great midrange and fairly good high extension from the dual drivers (better than the 315's) the a little light on the bass similar to eytemotics but not quite as bad but for Jazz and classical I think they would be great.

Also Sonys new 4 BA IEM is around $300 I think
