Is that for the NOSDAC or the TR-17hp?
Pardon me for the late reply.

It’s the NOSDAC. Received on 10 May and having a whale of honeymoon time spinning since then with my various portable amp. I should say am addicted to it. So impressive that I will be putting another order to be used as backup for continuity listening session while the other is charging.

Meanwhile, 07p amp is ready and if you’re interested, below is the order URL provided by A2P Kageyuki San.
For ordering the TR-17hp, the product page is currently under construction, but you can place an order through the following URL:
https://www.analog2p.com/cgi-bin/order/tr07quo.html
The delivery time is approximately within 3 months.

Some pictures to spice up this Lost in the wild thread.

A2P R2R NOSDAC has became a permanent heartbeat of my portable set-up. Can’t listen to any tracks without it since its arrival in early May 2024.

Am personally mighty impressed by its contributions that another set I ordered can only be shipped in Dec 2024.

Listening to Kitaro tracks with my IMR OM today was a bundle of joy in the most analogue manner. Among my portable amps, MK475 with my new fabricated IC & coax cables benefited the most from this A2P.

Simplicity with no manipulation = Analogue dope…

I tried to find out more about the DAC, but the order button on the website didn't work. How much did the DAC cost? Is the output 4.4mm?

Still considering.

Even though A2P has temporarily suspend order, you could still drop Kageyuki San an email to analog2p@gmail.com to register your interest and also request for that 4.4mm output.

Price is ¥72000.
Default casing is black- additional charges apply for customised casing(other colour).
New set will come with USB C charging port instead of usual 3.5mm jack.

Does anyone here own the TR-17HP? Or the TU-05? I'm really interested the transistor and tube portable amps.

Any comparison with the Brise Tsu or the MK475? Thanks!!

I owned the TUR-06. I've since sold it. It was really good, but there was a lot of tube noise. I've heard the same thing about the TUR-05. If tube noise bothers you look elsewhere. I prefer the Fostex HP-V1. Still own mine, but these have been discontinued. I've not heard Brise amps so can't comment. You may want to look at the Woo Audio WA8.

Good luck in your search.

So I'm an SET, vinyl and horn speaker guy, so I don't mind some noise as long as it's not excessive.

Brise Tsu, especially OE has exceptionally low noise and just black background which is awesome. But I do love tubes, just not the tiny tube like Christmas lights in the DAPs I've tried.

I'm going to take the plunge 😀

I'm not a big fan of Nutubes either. They don't sound like tubes IMO. I had a Cayin C9 and the Nutubes didn't scratch the tube itch I had. The HP-V1 has the proper tube sound.

@skcheng has been chatting me offline about my TUR-06 which seems to get shelved and pulled out only once very few years - and it's time again to refresh my mind about this beautiful little amp. Despite being ~12 yrs old by now, doesn't have fancy balanced in, nor balanced out, no 4.4mm sockets...it still performs pretty well. Doing a little tube rolling, I can't remember if I ever posted a consolidation of all my tubes :-

On the TUR-06 the NuTube on a ghetto board. I actually don't know how many Shikada-san made for the TUR-06 but at least on this thread, it seems I'm the only one who has the NuTube for the TUR-06(??).

But alongside that, there other tubes from L-R :-
Lorenz DF-91 pair
Telefunken DF-91 pair
Sylvania 1T4 pair
Fujitsu Ten 1R5SF (Not certain if I could use this...don't know why I bought this, I'd have to check with Shikada-san)
Fujistu Ten 1AS5-1U5SF (Same, not certain if I could use this...don't know why I bought this, I'd have to check with Shikada-san)
Fujitsu Ten 1AM4-1T4SF Pair
NEC 1T4SF Pair

Exciting to hear reports from the ongoing show. TR17HP is apparently a delightful sounding amp!!

Does anyone have a balanced 4.4mm TUR-06? Wondering if that's an option. And how does the new A2P DAC sound with the various amps??

Thanks Thanks!!
