I've been following this thread for quite a while and what I'm wondering is, which headphone ends up having the more neutral sound, the hp50 or the 545? Also, how do they compare in isolation?

hp50 have more isolation
k545 is more neutral

Thanks dweaver hmm The momentum felt way too small!! I didn't like that at all. I love the sound but gonna have to work on the seal of the 545. The highs are overpowering at times with my glasses on, to the point of having to take the cans off.

I would say try the HP50 if you can because they may work for you size wise. But I would try before you buy or buy from some place with a good return policy.

Yeah I think I will look into getting a pair sent out if I can manage it. I love the versatility of the bass on the 545 but don't think the HP50 will hold up. We'll see.......

I might pick up a pure black K545 if it is priced at $200. How would I go about applying or using the coupon ?. The reason I am asking about this is because the coupon only appears to be valid for items over $249 and the K545 is priced at $249.
