I'm thinking about selling mine in a few days. I founded two other headphones ( a modded Grado SR80i and a Senn HD580) and I can't keep nor listen to all these cans. So I spent very good moments with My K501 but I think it's time to see something else for me .

If anyone is interested , you can PM me  ( K501 , very good condition + K702 pads  for about 120€+ shipping costs )

I completely understand why you need to sell them. Owning more than a couple pairs of headphones is just nonsense. I am also thinking about selling a couple of mine. The tough decision will be which ones to keep :-/

I completely missed this post. Congratulations. Great price. Any opinions after 3 weeks?

Really love them. For me the bass is not lacking at all. Great allrounders. Absolutely perfect addition for my collection. I have had K701 for years now and I really like them too, but 501 seems a bit better in every way.

I am glad to hear that. Yes I also agree that k501 are better than k70x in every way ( especially with k701 earpads attached).

Mine are getting plenty of play time. Its my default headphone for the HTPC and my preferred headphone for dedicated classical listening. The other pair is being "broken in" year two by a happy friend of mine. Never selling these :)

.. and I received today an amp in order to drive my akg and my Senn hd580 properly : a  Meier Audio Corda Jazz . I 've listened to my Senn/corda Jazz combo from a few hours now and I'm really impressed with the improvement. Hope it will be the same thing for my K501

Great. That is a nice amp. Just let us know how k501 and Meier sound together as soon as you know.
