Akg K400

Just got a pair of these headphones in. Still in the original box and they look like new.
In the box was a bag with 2 plastic "acoustic supported digital filters" Can someone tell me what these things do soundwise, block the treble or something?

It's unfortunate that you got such a useless response, here is a slightly more useful post to start from

It's been mentioned by me and others in various K400/K500 threads. It's a presence/treble filter. The rotting foam can be replaced, or the plastic holder removed if you prefer it without filter.

If you want to try looking in other K400/K500 threads and search "filter" that may get you more info
