I wish I have heard the Lamda

Heard neither of them (own the Lambda Pro though), so I don't vote.
But I am almost sure I would have picked the Lambda, since I like the electrostatic sound.

Um, the survey is explicitly a measure of personal preference. Beyond this, every single comparison of headphone quality we ever do is always highly dependent on what's upstream. It doesn't mean we can't reach a general consensus that certain headphones are better than others and that some headphones sit together at vaguely the same level, different but competitive.

SR-404 and a bass-light K340.

The K340 is better in nearly every way. It doesn't sound much like a bass-heavy K340, but closer to the Lambda, though more focused, crisper, and with a better midrange. Strangely enough, the SR-404 has better bass even though it's a 'stat.

I'm with catscratch on the 'bass light' versions superiority.

As for the K340 vs. Lambda, I guess I can't vote since I've never owned the Lambdas. Having heard the SR404's and Lambdas in various rigs though, I would say that I strongly prefer the K340 as long as they are amped properly.

I have not heard the Lambdas, so I can't comment on which I prefer.
I have however heard the K340 and 404 side by side, and the K340 absolutely mops the floor with the 404 IMO.
I've also heard the OmegaII and K340 side by side, and I definitely prefered the OmegaII. So until I hear where the Lambda falls in that ranking I have no answer.

Well then if that's the case I feel I can cast an informed vote.
