Seconding the pads - I got a used pair of A2C which I’m enjoying, but finally decided to order the perforated pads from DCA and they are a nice improvement

I'm in the situation where I have £200 worth of upgraded cables and can't use them

I have a custom can cable for audeze and an oidio cable for these DCA but in 4.4mm, I'm wondering if I can have the end changed or find a female 4.4 to male TRS 1/4

I'll second that. I have DCA cables for all my over-ears, and they're great. The termination system is absolutely fantastic.

I think I'll go w/ the Hart Audio as long as they're an improvement over the stock cable. Ideally, I'd like to get it with 2.5mm balanced end, plus a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter

You may find it's better in the long run to get the "kit" of connectors so you're future proofed for new gear. They're a lot more convenient than adapters. I may never use the XLR one, but I get a lot of use out of the rest. Plus they're awesome people to work with.

The new IEM set is also great. I've been asking them for a lighter weight cable for my in ears for a while, and now they've delivered. I just got one and like it a lot.

Well, I'm coming from Edition XS , wife said too loud for a small house, so far so good, letting them run in, changing pads to perforated and playing with the EQ in the Chord etc etc, so far they got the mark but ....when playing relaxing jazz or male vocals I still yearn for the Edition XS, might have to keep both as both seem to suit different music ( and when my wife is out )

hello,how good isolation on aeon2 closed vs third party closed hphones? im tried at local shop aeon2 open vs audeze lcd-2c closed and both has same isolation by my ears.

I have the A2C and the isolation is very good. I've only owned a few different closed headphones (Beyers, Sennheiser) but the Aeons have been the best for isolation and comfort.
