I bought the beyerdynamic dt770 like one of you adviced me (for gaming) and it's great it blows away any "steelseries" "razer" or any gaming brands products.

Now I need a pair of headphones for music without bass and closed back. No price range =P

Points:
+ durability
+ closed back
+ no bass (or very low bass)

Thank you again !

Which kind of music you like?

The SRH840 by shure are good hps with detail and a perfect amount of bass (not bassy)

Well it's not for music it's for a project for high school, to demonstrate something about the frecuncies in physics, it's very complicated to explain and my english does not help xD.
I was thinking about the ED8. (are they bassy) ?

They have a good amount of bass.

Are you looking for headphones with a flat response on music?

Check the AKG K701's.

Get the Beyerdynamic DT48. The bass is there, but damned flat and unappealing to most listeners. They're also closed and built well enough to survive being backed over by a car. The padded headband has steel underneath and the cups are made from milled aluminum. There's nothing tougher on the market.
