I actually submitted my ST2000 order back in August via HK. More than 3 months later, still waiting for it but hopefully it'll arrive soon. No signs of pre-orders opening in Taiwan yet lol
The faceplate colors are as shown: Silver, Gold, and Black
You get more choices for the shell colors (similar to ST1000 I guess): Clear/Red/Blue/Smoke/Green/Yellow/Black
Just saw these pics from Soundwaveaudiohk . Apparently ST2000 is about to be released which, im getting a hint that they might release a Gold HS2000MX in the future. That said, the silver/steel version of the HS2000MX look impressive and mesmerizing as well
Well then maybe im kinda slow on the news, at least about the color of ST2000. I always thought is just the original Hs2000mx's color. Hopefully they will release a full gold version of Hs2000MX in the future
Commencing burn in.. decided to go with ACT04 first rather than the ACT03.. Out of the box sounded like it had more synergy with the warmer sounding WM1ZM2. But damn I like how the ACT03 looks!

Quick update is that ACT04 sounds like the basshead variant in comparison to the other 3. Well controlled, deep bass, perhaps ever so slight bleed into the mids, and less of soundstage depth and height perception as a result. I will continue burning in and see how they pan out. Very fun sounding atm.

Thanks for the update. The ACT01 for me is the most reference sound with excellent mids, probably picking up more details. The ACT02 has smooth treble and thicker sound. Very curious about the chambers.

Yup, when i want to immerse in very well mastered pieces, the ACT01 is my go to. ACT02 was more for vocals, but sometimes too warm on the already warm WM1ZM2. Long long wait to burn 150hrs each~
Just spent 2hrs+ listening to my ACT04 after 24hrs of burn-in... If you own the Sho, you MUST buy the ACT04! Am just letting Apple Music churn out random recommendations via "My Station", every song sounds amazing. The ACT04 sound like a pair of headphones, not IEMs. Soundstage is not crazy wide, but there is a 3D quality to it, even more so than ACT01. Haven't seen any measurements on these, but the bass and sub-bass region sounds fantastic. Can't wait to do a full comparison but I could not hold myself back from recommending these already~

Red isn't really for me. Wonder how much weight difference the stainless steel makes though. Really enjoying the ACT04 even more so than the ACT03. Shall see if they release the ACT05 for sale separately (they should, else it really defeats the purpose of the ACTs). Though, with my experience with kit lenses on cameras, the Kit sets aren't that special usually...

I personally vote to go for ACT04 if you want realistic and balanced sound! I am very impressed to use it on ST2000.
I loved the ACT01 at HS2000MX being natural and quick response but become lack of low / bias to mid&high when put into ST2000. Earbuds might play an important role to tune a favorable sound.
