I used a Dual 2-Strand Twisted Cable to rewire my Qian25, and it doesn't sound very much different than stock - I think because it's about the same wire gauge as the stock cable.
So, I made an 8-Strand Braided Copper Cable (by un-twisting the Dual 2-Strand Twisted Cable, doubling it over and braiding the 4 twisted pairs) to rewire my "J-cable" Vido, and I think it sounds better than stock.

I've also got a "Y-cable" Vido, but I haven't done any critical comparison listening, back & forth, between the two Vido.

Ahh Mr David i have yet to learn how to braid the cables. I havent really read one of the subscribed threads (too lazy) lol.

Either ways how do u find the recabled Qian25 vs the Vido?

For the link just search the last 2-3 pages of this thread. Qian25 sounds better than Qian39.

I find it interesting to take 1 bud from each pair of earbuds (connected with Y-splitter) in the ears and play a complete sweep from audiocheck.net. And focus on the centering/ L/R-panning.

Yea the Benjie buds are pretty good. Too bad i blew mine during the first few soldering training jobs

After spending some time switching between Vido, Monk and Monk plus, my pick is definitely Vido for its more mature natural sound. Monk comes 2nd Monk plus the 3rd.

Did you try the famous Ozkan mod on the Vido?

No because the stock Vido is so good that I didn't even bother to mod but hmm let me try it

Edit: Well my mod seems to work on Vido too. The treble now has more definition and extents more while the midrange is pushed back only a tiny bit thus making the overall sound more balanced. I'll leave the Blu-tac permanently so I recommend my mod
