Runaway balloon lands; no sign of boy - Life- msnbc.com

As per MSNBC news page link above...

FORT COLLINS. Colo. - Authorities were scouring the skies Thursday for a 6-year-old boy who unhooked his family's experimental balloon-powered aircraft and floated away from home, sheriff's officials said.

The Larimer County Sheriff's Department said the boy's family had been building an experimental aircraft that had a large helium balloon attached to it at their home, KUSA-TV reported. The aircraft was approximately 20 feet by 5 feet and covered in tin foil, the station said.

On Thursday morning, according to the family and officials, the boy got onto the aircraft and detached the rope holding it in place.

I wonder who will be the first whackjob to blame this on the movie "Up".

Personally I blame it on violent video games, heavy metal music, as well as Dungeons and Dragons.

I saw this on yahoo, and I've determined that the family is insane. The 'funny' part? The boy's name is Falcon.

Not sure i would make light of this situation.Must be gut wrenching for the family, thinking about what the fate of their child is.

Oops, too soon. It is hard to refrain from making light of a 6-year-old boy named Falcon allegedly floating away in his father's weather balloon.

I should've saved the Up jokes for later.

Shoot, i thought for sure Kirosia or Patrick82 has something to do with this.
I thought they were sending a small boy with a video camera around the USA to video people wearing headphones from the sky.

The child's fate is sealed. He will be laughed at, and he will probably wind up on the talk show circuit, even if some of them are past his bedtime.
