Did they ever figure out what allegedly fell from that craft while in the air? It looks pretty barebone already; don't see how anything could be attached to it without sinking it.

just for laughs, i'd love to know what the costs are associated with search and rescue. A previous post stated the helicopter alone is about $4600 per hour.Ouch!!

I saw the video on youtube of the balloon floating through the air, heard the news people talking about a boy on board and just shook my head... there is absolutely no way a balloon of that size with cold helium could lift a child... without the child it would just be blowing in the wind.
One of the reasons I don't watch TV is because I don't believe any of it.
