Does anyone know of any comparison between the Adel line and the Noble audio line? My current headphones are in my sig, the he400i get the most play time currently but I also like the AKGs for what they are but the speed and clarity of the bass on the he400i is hard to pass up. I was mainly looking at the U4 vs the noble savant or 4u but I'm really not sure which direction I want to go.

Haven't tried the Noble Savant, but from reading descriptions, they are completely different sound signatures. The U4 has more emphasis on bass. If you want something flat look for the U5 or U10.

I'm not necessarily adverse to a bit more bass, would that make them more similar to an IE80? I guess I'm trying to figure out if there are comparable models to headphones I already own that would help me make a decision I think. I really wish there were some FR graphs for these that would help me decide.

For a bit more bass, go for U8 (A8) or U12 (A12).

U10 in particular is a reference model, so it doesn't quite hit as hard on the bass front.
