1964 Ears

Hello guys

I am currently struggling between the Qi and V3. I notice that the Qi has more bass than the V3 but am worried that it's going to cover all the details.

Can any of you give me some advice? :D

I'm only speaking from second hand experience but the guy that turned me on to 1964 has the quads. He plays guitar, bass, drums, and keys... Loves his quads, and has never said they were missing anything.

Low F Sharp, are you also a bass player? My brother is a bass player and plays a Ken Smith like the one on your profile pic. I know lots of bass players who love the quads.

I went with the V8. Can't wait until they arrive! Never thought I would say I wish it wasn't the weekend, but knowing that 1964 closes on the weekend has me wishing it just a tiny little bit today!

Congratz on the purchase!

Ive had mine for a year and they amazing.

How are the A12s? how do they compare against the V series eg V8s?

(From memory)
V8 was too bassy for my liking. The A12 sounds more balanced but still have that nice oomph and textured bass. Sounds clear throughout the frequencies while the V8 mid bass is heavier and treble is tamed.

Been listening to mine today for the first time in a couple weeks - have been able to find about 4 good hours tonight... Genesis, Rush, Roxy Music, Zappa....
