I'm afraid for my hp.

Impressions of E07K? Don't look at my review

Alright, I'll end up writing a review after I do some A/B tests between my O2/iPod setup...
I honestly can't hear that much of a difference thus far. I'm still being wowed by the level of detail in the MDs to see if it's better than my iPod...

Yeah, testing amps is NOT easy.

You have to have a static part to test each one

You can do an overall test of DAC + amp

Then you could do just a test of the DAC and its implementation by having two DAC's all hooked up to one amp. (for E07K, you need an L7 for this)

To test amp only, you use AUX in on this and AUX in on an O2 or another reference amp

It takes a while.

The P-H will make it a lot easier. There is no ABX switching but at least you will have options.

Okay, I have to remove the tweeter... :frowning2: Do you know how much power those little suckers use??? WAY too much, like, need 2 of those Lepai amps to power one! :basshead:

I tend to lie in bed watching anime. So extra cable length helps.

5 feet is nice unless you are a studio producer. Then you need 20.

thus the coil cords :)

idk... 5 feet juts seemed a bit on the meh side. I was thinking that 6 feet would be the sweet spot for me.

Laptops are too loud. I only have a desktop.

I find the average new laptop to be quieter than the average new desktop and a non silent minded desktop one.

My desktop is so fricking loud. I have my fans set to silent now though which is very very good and mangaeable now. I have AIO liquid so I don't need all the brawn of uber cooling fans anyway.

I hate long cables.
Short cables + extension cable. That's the way to go man! Portable + home use.
Some of the older ATH portables based their method on this concept. 30cm cable, with extension cord.
30 cm so if you're using a music player that is positioned higher, and etc.

Don't think my SA5K's will be portable :)
