Has no one tried these yet? There is only a handful of articles/unboxings on the net. Hard to believe that not a single person bought a pair...
Trying to decide between these and the Voyager 14 as my next iem.
Zeos unboxed a pair last year, but hasn't reviewed them yet. Hard to buy them unheard without more feedback:confused:
Would be glad for any input from real users/owners. :smile_phones:

I've been checking about once a week for more than a month for a review of these but likewise I can't buy them blind at this pricepoint eventhough I'm more than a little intrigued by them. Kinera, I'd ne happy to review them for you!

I did a little research and I found three reviews about the Baldr 2. In a nutshell they are a little bass light due to the 7mm DD. (10mm in the Mest) The FR curve from the first Baldr on Crinacle's side looks very odd regarding the mids and I think there is a reason there are no reviews from Crinacle or from BGGAR. The Baldr 2 looks very beautiful but I will wait till I hear something positve from Crinacle or BGGAR. Those are too expensive to buy blind.

Well, I dont think Crinacle or BGGAR will give a high grade on Baldr 2. If you see their ranks they prefer IEMs with more weight and warmer tonality. Look like that Baldr 2 concentrate their pros on midrange (clear, and airy) and treble.
If you dont like IEM with this sound signature this IEM, probably, is not for you.

Can someone clarify the difference between baldr and baldr2? Is the tuning the same?
Officially the tuning is different, the sound of baldr2 is fine-tuned from the baldr1. I personally felt that the sound of baldr2 is better suited for instruments

I have the Baldur 2 and love them. I have them paired with a Bronze Dragon cable from Moon Audio which smoothes out the treble extension a bit. They sound fantastic with excellent treble extension that works wonderfully with horns especially when listening to Jazz. They can also hit the low notes as well. For example when listening to Michal Urbanisk's album Miles Of Blue which uses hip hop bass tracks behind Miles Davis horn samples this set presents it flawlessly with soaring highs and deep rumbling lows. It's really an all-arounder with excellent treble extension. I've had the set for almost a year but am new to Head-Fi so thought I would post some thoughts from long term use. It's my treble head all around set.

I am quite specifically that some copper or other conductive wire could change the sound signature of carefully tuned drivers and crossovers.

I tried these with a Silver Dragon which is an all Silver cable and although they sounded good it was just a little too bright for me so I switched out to the Copper and they sounded perfect.
