The long awaiterd MF V PSU is OUT! i saw it on Music Direct yesterday and immediately went to check with the local agent. Its there! Guess will pull the trigger to get it soon : )   Any V Dac owner already got one? :)

Here my set up   CA 640C V2 --> V DAC --> MF X can V8 ( With PSU and upgraded Soviet 6h23N) -- > HD650 ( with Cardas Cable)

Have been patiently wating too. I know this is like a "community " project for Jmoney and not really for "profit" etc.. But some updates will be good :)  

Based on recommendation, replaced the stock tube with 6h23p

Imbalance is msotly due to unmatched pair. Can always request for a matched pair while ordering. I would recomend pushing in. Rocking only if necessay for taking them out. And if you have the chance clean the contact using contact cleaner. Would provide better connection and cleaner sound.

PS1000!! Eh the can is heavy and solid enuf to use as Hammer for making a system CABINET on the deserted island Now i need to find the nails..... Settling for something lesser... i would look at the MS2i .....

Audio Space is a HK based company who is specialised in Tubes equipment for mainly speakers setup. WA make primarily Headphone amp. i think it that way, its non comparable. Though some of those Audio Space amp comes with Headphone out it is not comparable to my dedicated headphone amp...

Both will work wonder. However being slightly old school, i tend to prefer old vol pot as i find them more reliable and able to tell you how loud the music is in relation to the posn of the pot. But in terms of sound performance, on par imO.

MS2 i an extremely good can Congrats on your purchase. I am using MS2i with Mustang. Its improves on the sounstage a lot plus details, bass and dynamics. Don have juch experience on other amp but it suits me so well that i don see any need to audition on other amp to match with MS2i any...

Oh no. lately i started hearing some slight hissing sound. Its like very low level kind of hissing and spitting sound. Cna only hear it in very very quiet sessions. ANd when the vol pot is at its min, then the sound will come up. It seem to occur on both headphone jacks.. Any one has this...

The pre amp tape loop out will pass line signal out. ANd if you use the XcanV8 as a Pre amp, then plugging it into the line in of Xcanv8P will establish the signal chain from CDP- Pre amp - Xcanv8p. And connecting the pre out to the power amp will provide the Xcan sound. That wold work...

Hope i don step into the wrong topic. I see ss amp with claims like 100W , 200W etc. However most Tube amps in comparism throw out tiny 8W, 12W, 21 W etc and they cost much more than the SS amps... ... MOst of the times i am a little confused..... The idea i get is more power output = More...
