In Stereophile's Sam's (Tellig) space he reviews the Musical Fidelity AMA35i. He mentions a new Class A solid state headphone amp is on the way and it can be used as a line stage too. Can't wait.

Solid state you say. I heard there was going to be a replacement for the v8p, just assumed it would be another hybrid.

I have seen the v-can going cheap lately 60 quid delivered was the best I saw.

Looks like there clearing stock on this, so maybe Prog Rock Man is right and its about to be replaced.

I think someone in another thread said June but that might have been about the v8p replacement, so the bottom line is I dont Know
