    Ipod Touch vs Cowon j3

Don't mean to highjack, but my Rockboxed 5.5g is dying, and I need a new source. It's been a while since I've been in the market, and it seems things have changed. So if I get a 64 gb touch I can play all my .flac files and get a digital out or use a LOD and bypass the headphone amp?

I'm looking for impressions from Grado users who have tried the MK II or above and those who have...

    Desktop Speaker Amp

I'd like to keep it less than 300 USD, but that has never stopped from me from going over. For the record, the chain is Foobar>USB DAC>Little Dot MKIII preamp>

    Headphones for Rock and Jazz

I'm in the same boat. I love my Grados for rock, but I either need a seperate headphone for small combo jazz or I need to bite the bullet and get the RS-1. Recently, I've been looking at the K701s or the HD600. I don't know much about the Beyers, Ultrasone, or Audio Technica. I love my...

    Amps to pair with Grados

I know you specified "no tubes", but tubes are the best thing that ever happened to my Grados. I'm just sayin'..try one if you get a chance.

    Rega P2 - Best TT under $600-$700???

It might be worth the 200 extra to get the P3-24. I think it has the better motor (same in the P5, P7 and P9) as well as the better tonearm (RB 301). I think the plinth is even a huge upgrade. It also comes with a decent cartridge. If you don't want to spend that kind of money, I would drop down...
