CD780 vs Audio Technica ATH-A500/A900?
I have the CD780, and I think that the comfort is overrated here. Sure, they feel like pillows when you put then on, but after a while, the lower headband kind of pinches the sides of my head, and my ears gets *really* warm. They are also heavy as hell! There is also something missing in the...- marvie

Good, comfortable portable closed ear/headphones about $60?
Soundstage.. check. Isolation... hmm.. I was thinking the buds would at least provide more isolation than the KSC-35.. well doesn't anything else would provide better isolation than that?- marvie

Good, comfortable portable closed ear/headphones about $60?
After reading through like 50 pages of threads, I've come to the conclusion that you guys will probably suggest the V6/7506 or Eggos based on my suggestions above. Some points of reference: I like the way my KSC35 sounds off the iPod, but the problem is that it leaks. Comfort is just...- marvie

So I got a Grado SR80...
.. but I wasn't blown away by the sound as expected And all I got for wearing it are two sore ears. I think I'll just trade this for some ultra comfy Sony MDR-CD780s since my ears probably can't tell apart a dog's bark from a cat's meow Oh wellllll. Would this be wise?- marvie

newbie: HD497 upgrade at roughly the same price?
From what I've gathered, isn't it only that the older SR80's (pre 1998?) are uncomfortable? If the comfort isn't much different, I wouldn't mind spending more for the SR80.- marvie

Keep em' coming! Is the MDR-V6 still worth buying? If yes, where do I find them? I am not a really big fan of Sony.. but if it's good stuff I will buy it Edit: How much does the SR60/SR80 really leak sound (if possible, compared to the HD497)? If it's not much, it would really make my...- marvie
