Call 1-800-488-SONY (7669), and see what is available. There are many replacement parts that for some reason aren't listed at http://servicesales.sel.sony.com/. The $160 CD3000 cable is one of those.
Another option is to post in the For Sale forum. At least some of us that purchased refurbs from eCost a while back got two cables. Maybe someone would be willing to sell their backups.
And finally the cable seems to be standard jacks on both ends, so making a cable shouldn't be very difficult.
