The exact same thing happended to my X1. simple reset sorted it out and ive not had any problems since then

HD 485's are a good choice, they take along time to burn in, which tames the bass. however i havent heard grados so cant comment.

as a current senn owner, im thinking of investing in some beyeres, however i was wondering what there sound sig is like as im starting to feel undwhelmed by senns laid back sound.

i've had the HD485's for a couple of months now, simply there extremely comfortable, i wear them for hours at a time. in terms of sound at first the they seem like bass monsters with a pretty bloated bass which seems to overpower the mids & highs. However if you give them plenty of time to burn...

ive had them for a month now, at first i found the bass to be slightly overpowering. however after alot of burn in it tightens up and they turn out to be a pretty fun listen.
