My Gilmore sounds wonderful with my 600's. It cost me around $600 to build because I spared no expense (and made a few boo-boos).

THIS jig with a good plunge router will give far more perfect circles than anything discussed so far...I've built a lot of speakers even in the <2k in raw parts range. However, for squares, ignore me. Edit again: I used a power jigsaw every day when I was eleven+ ..... *shrug* never had...

I was under the impression THIS was pretty darn good for well under $100?

I lowered my DC from 50-90mv to >5mv by matching the LED's better and then replacing the servo opamps with brand new ones.

Pretty sure Mark is referring to his source. Too bad my source has a molded cord, and I don't feel like Dremel'ing it.

I think that is just a loudspeaker amp. And they don't have the matching SACD player.... Might be something nice for AKG K1000s.
