Yeah Bitfrost has the GEN 5, the Lyr 3 will come with GEN 2 if you get the multibit option. Much cleaner signal with the Bitfrost and overall better component layout. If you really need an All-in-one, the Lyr 3 with the multibit option would work well, but you may sacrifice some.

I decided instead of getting the Eitr to go with my modi multibit to just get the bitfrost multibit with gen 5 usb. i prefer an all in one and it has a much better power cable.

Is the Eitr worth it for my setup? the only advantage I see is going from a USB 2 to USB 5 setup, is there that much difference? currently i have MacBook -> Modi Multibit -> Jotunheim but i'm considering throwing the Eitr in there. Let me know what you guys think.

I was able to pick these up for $260 shipped with a 2 year warranty. I get them on Friday! Will let you guys know how they are. These look built to last and seem like the best IEM's for the price range. Can't wait!

Honestly, this has been discussed a bazillionbugillion times. With the proper equipement, yes you can tell the difference, but in my opinion it isn't worth it. FLAC takes up wayyy too much space and you honestly probably wouldn't even notice...
