Well - The N82 played reasonable music through the amp. Not as detailed or the same timbre, sounded a bit compressed - guess that's MP3's for you.

I swapped out the Caps on my G&W TW J1 - subtle difference. Changing the 8 boggo diode for Hexfreds had a huge impact (for the better) on every aspect of the sound.

A friend of mine just brought a J1 over for me from China ~$110. Having tried and tired of Project box and auditioned Creeks two amps I am very pleasantly surprised by the J1. Seems to pair well with the Grado SR-125's I recently got. For the money I don't think I have gone wrong.
